Have you ever seen how cod-liver oil is made, or tasted real Norwegian caviar?


At Full Steam you can relive the history of fishing in Lofoten. Full Steam houses a museum where you can follow the entire process from when the fish is caught at sea until it is processed and everything is put to use: the roes as caviar, the liver as cod-liver oil and the fish as stockfish, salt fish or fresh fish.

We work together with one of Norway’s oldest cod-liver oil factories, where you can take part in the process and taste real cod-liver oil and Norwegian caviar.

Full Steam specializes in "genuine" Norwegian caviar.

Sugar salted and lightly smoked roes, served on delicious wafer crispbread with crème fraîche and red onions.
